Did you know that you can hop on a bus for free? 

Everyone from 5 years old up to 21 years old who lives in Scotland can travel for free on the bus across the whole of the country.

If you’re under 15 years old, your parent, carer, or guardian will need to apply for you. They can find out more about how to apply on freebus.scot.

There’s lots to think when you hop on the bus. If you’ve never travelled on the bus before, or by yourself, you can visit our website to learn more about what happens when you get on the bus. You can also find some tips about how to travel safely.

Tell your friends and your school!
Can you help to spread the word about free bus journeys? You could tell your school about it at an assembly, tell your class about it, or ask your teacher to print some of the posters below and pop them up around the school on noticeboards!
